Al Hedayah is the property owner for the two parcels of land at John T. White and Randol Mill. We spoke with the developer today and they are still exploring options. Both parcels of land are zoned for commercial use. The initial plans are for the one parcel of land at the corner (at 8661); the second parcel of land (at 8689) will be developed at a later time. The developer is exploring a mixed-use development for small business with some residential space and additional parking for Al Hedayah. The developer is talking with the City what might be possible, and look forward to sharing ideas with the neighborhood. Keep an eye on this site for updates.

The new owner has cleared a bit of debris and brush. This is to deter homeless people from building their camps on the property and provide access to utilities and communications companies. They are aware they must identify and maintain old-growth trees. As of today, the owner has not done any grading, or provided plans for the site to the city. T
Your BVWNA is in contact with our City Council Representative Gyna Bivens regarding this property, and updates will be posted here and on our private Facebook Group page.
