In the recent Bond & Charter Election, only an estimated 23,000 residents voted! And those few voters decided that all the bond proposals are to be passed. Most of the proposed amendments to the City's charter also passed - with the exception of those that would expand the authority of the City Manager. Thank you to all the residents who took the time to read, learn, and vote!

The 2026 Fort Worth bond proposal—totaling approximately $845 million—is designed not to increase the property tax rate. While state law requires the ballot language to state "This is a tax increase," city officials structured the debt payments to fit within the existing tax rate, meaning no tax hike is expected to pay for these projects.
