City's 2027 Proposed Budget

Calling all Residents! This is Your Opportunity to provide Input!

What is important to you? Housing? Water Services? Libraries? Waste Water Lines? Pets & Wildlife? Infrastructure? Traffic & Roadways? Zoning? Crime & Safety? Urban Forestry? The list can be long. So ask questions and get information. This is an opportunity to support the things you believe are important for our City and should be included in the 2027 budget.

Early this month, Fort Worth's City Manager presented to the City Council a proposed budget for 2027. You can read about this proposal on the City website at: https://www.fortworthtexas.gov/news/2026/8/recommended-budget

City Council has held budget work sessions and are currently holding district meetings to hear from constituents about the budget. The meetings so far have been very interesting with many questions from residents. The District 5 meeting is scheduled for August 31, 2026, 6:00 p.m. at the Eastside YMCA at 1500 Sandy Lane.
