You should call 9-1-1 anytime you hear gunshots near your home. Reporting gunshots to 9-1-1 helps the Fort Worth Police Department monitor illegal gun activity in our community.
The 9-1-1 call serves as the official record and is included in reports to our city leaders including our Councilmember Gyna Bivens, and our Fort Worth Police Chief Neil Noakes, FWPD East Division Commander Leonard Elgin, and FWPD Neighborhood Patrol Officer Travis Ward.
