ACTION: Comment to city on DR HORTON's tree clearcutting
Please read this Star Telegram link regarding the DR Horton clearcutting of trees on Randol Mill Road!
This development is about ½ miles NW of Bentley Village-Waterchase. Not only has the eradication of oak trees devastated the land, it has also caused flooding onto Randol Mill Rd.
Suggestions have been made to levy major fines ($1.5 million) on DR Horton, as well as mandatory tree planting. The Urban Design Commission hearing is on March 22 to discuss this matter. Nothing can bring back the trees, but there is something we can do as a community: hold this builder accountable.
Please take action! Write the officials below with your concerns and please ask them to hold DR Horton accountable for their actions!
